Golden Tulip has created this international website in order to offer business and leisure travelers more convenience in making a hotel reservation 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The secure on-line reservation system is a product from Pegasus Solutions, the world market leader in software for hotel reservations.

Make a reservation


Golden Tulip provides you a flexible and global option to make hotel reservations via our secure Web server connection by clicking on quick reservation panel or via the explore function (maps).

When making reservations on-line, we need a credit card at the time of the reservation request to process the reservation. The credit card is only being used to secure, hold or guarantee the reservation until you arrive. .

When booking Early Bird Rates, your credit card details will be asked and your card will be charged during the booking. Early Bird rates offer you discount on the Best Available Rate, but these bookings can not be cancelled or refunded.


Modify a reservation

After making a reservation, a confirmation number will be displayed and you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. This number, together with your e-mail address, offers the possibility to modify your reservation. This way you can change the arrival date, departure date, number of rooms/persons for the reservation made. The following restrictions apply on modifying your booking:

- There has to be availability in the hotel for your modifications. For example, if the hotel is fully booked, you won’t be able to change the number of rooms from 1 to 2 for your booking.
- Early Bird bookings (prepaid) can not be modified
- When the cancellation deadline has passed, you won’t be able to modify the booking.

Cancel a reservation


After making a reservation, a confirmation number will be displayed and you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. This number, together with your e-mail address, offers the possibility to cancel your reservation. If you are unable to cancel the reservation within the time requirements stated in the hotel's cancellation policy (noted on their rate pages), some hotels might apply a one night or more cancellation charge. Company rates

Companies that have special agreements with Golden Tulip are able to reserve accommodation on-line in a secure environment at the special agreed rate. Every company that has an agreed rate and that wishes to make on-line reservations 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, will be given a username and password which can be used on www.goldentulip.com only.

All you have to do is fill out you username and password as provided and follow the reservation procedure. Once you select a hotel with which you have a special rate agreement this special rate will be displayed together with the standard rate of the hotel. Should for whatever reason your special rate not be available, you have the opportunity to select the standard rate for this hotel. You may also select any other Golden Tulip hotel in the same area of your choice, irrespective of the fact that you may have no agreed special rate with this hotel, and book the rate available.


Hotel Rates

Golden Tulip automatically reflects the property's current rates that are automatically updated from the central reservation system of our hotels. This means that you will always be able to book the most up to date rates for all Golden Tulip hotels.

Shopping for hotels or special deals? Golden Tulip offers a wide range of special deals that are published in the special offers section. Golden Tulip only sells the rates that are displayed within the hotel rate information. We cannot negotiate a better rate than what is published on our site.


Reservation Confirmations


When making your reservation on-line, we will provide you with an instant confirmation. We will further verify your reservation with an e-mail confirmation.

Before arrival you will receive a reminder email, containing interesting information for your stay in our hotel. If you do not want to receive this reminder email, you will have to uncheck the reminder email button in the booking form when making the booking.


Hotel Availability

All hotels that are displayed on the Golden Tulip can be reserved at the time of a reservation request unless the hotel has indicated they are not available for a specific date.

If you are interested in the availability of a specific property you have found on goldentulip.com, you can book on any individual hotel page and proceed through three quick steps.


Prepaying & Guaranteeing Hotel Reservations


Our properties will require a credit card number to "secure or hold" your reservation. Any prepayment or guarantee requirements the property has will be communicated to you before you make a reservation at a specific property.

The information relating to the hotels featured on the Golden Tulip website has been provided to us by the hotels. It is possible that, due to building or management alterations, some services or facilities could differ. Neither Golden Tulip nor the individual hotels are responsible for these differences.

Goldentulip.com serves as an electronic brochure as a booking liason between the hotel and its clients. If you wish to correspond with an individual hotel, you will need to contact the hotel directly. The hotel address, telephone number and e-mail address can be found on the "Details" page of each hotel and can easily be found by entering the specific hotel name on our search page.

Unfortunately we are unable to mail out individual hotel brochures. However, as goldentulip.com is an "electronic brochure", we encourage you to print the hotel information you are seeking.

Group Reservations


Presently, Golden Tulip does not have the capability to book more than four rooms per request. If you like to book a larger group please contact the hotel of your choice directly. For those of you who need a greater number of rooms, we advise you to contact the hotel directly.
